PETER OBI AND HIS WIFE: COMPASSION I HAVE EXPERIENCED PERSONALLY

I was behind the camera recording this moment with our incoming First Lady, Her Excellency Mrs. Margaret Obi, alongside Mama P, Esther, and Reverend Sister Martina Obi, sister to His Excellency Mr. Peter Obi.

When Mama P told her, “Ma, Kingland had an accident,” her immediate reaction touched my heart. The concern she expressed meant so much to me, especially after everything I had been through.

It reminded me of her husband’s kindness while I was in the hospital. I had not personally informed His Excellency about my accident, yet he called me.

“Kingland, I heard what happened. Thank God you are talking. Thank God you are talking,” he said.

Those words brought me comfort during a painful period. He also sent me prayers through WhatsApp. To someone recovering from a serious accident, that care and encouragement mean more than words can explain.

Now, witnessing his wife’s concern, I see that same humanity. A compassionate couple whose kindness I have experienced personally.

My support for Peter Obi comes from my belief in his leadership and from moments like these—moments that reveal how he treats people when they are vulnerable.

Nigeria must not miss Peter Obi in 2027. I repeat: Nigeria must not miss Peter Obi!
