Mourning the Loss of Emmanuel Ugboaja

I have lost a friend, a committed patriot, and a passionate advocate for the interests of workers and the building of a better Nigeria, Mr. Emmanuel Ugboaja.

I first came across Emmanuel during my time in the Labour Party, and our paths crossed on several occasions thereafter. I was struck by his deep commitment to the welfare of workers, his belief in justice and fairness, and his desire to see a Nigeria where every citizen can live and work with dignity.

Emmanuel was not one to remain indifferent to the challenges facing ordinary Nigerians. He spoke with conviction and consistently demonstrated a genuine concern for the people, particularly workers whose contributions to the nation are often overlooked.

His passing is a painful loss to his family, friends, colleagues, and the wider community of people who shared his ideals. Nigeria has lost a man who believed in the possibility of a better country and was willing to contribute to making that possibility a reality.

I extend my heartfelt condolences to his family, friends, colleagues, and all who mourn this great loss. May God grant his loved ones the strength to bear this difficult moment and grant Emmanuel Ugboaja eternal rest.
