Former Imo State Governor Achike Udenwa has broken his silence to declare his full support for Peter Obi, while calling for an immediate end to the political attacks and divisions fracturing the Ndigbo community.
Clarifying that his past silence was not an abandonment of Obi, Udenwa emphasized that differing political choices should never justify insults.
He reminded the public of his commitment by recalling how he and other prominent Igbo leaders personally accompanied Obi on nationwide campaign engagements across all six geopolitical zones.

Udenwa summarized his stance clearly: “Because we want a better Nigeria, that is why we want Mr. Peter Obi to become President of Nigeria.”
He urged that political disagreements remain focused entirely on ideas, leadership records, and the nation’s future rather than personal animosity.
